The American Quarter Horse Foundation strives to strengthen the unique bond between people and horses by creating and maintaining programs that improve the lives of horses and those who share their lives with them. The AQHA, founded in 1940, was built to organize the common interests of a breed type. What it’s grown into in the past three-quarters of a century is the world’s largest breed registry. Amarillo, Texas is home to the international headquarters, and today, nearly 6 million horses have been registered from 95 countries! The AQHA membership stands at 260,531.

AMERICAN COWBOY TEAM ROPING ASSOCIATION (ACTRA)

ACTRA is the largest non-profit team roping organization in the United States. Founded in 1983, it currently​ has chapters in California, Hawaii, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Canada (British Columbia), Wyoming, Arizona, Utah and Montana. ACTRA is both owned and run by its members that include families, individuals who rope as a hobby, and professional ropers.

CINCH RANCH SORTING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The great sport of Ranch Sorting is exploding in popularity across the United States. The Cinch Ranch Sorting National Championships is now over 28,000 members strong, with over 4,500 shows produced, and over 6,000 teams attending the World Finals annually. It is the mission of CINCH RSNC to lead the industry in developing and improving the sport of Ranch Sorting through affordability and a fair rating system. Our goal is to preserve the heritage and integrity of the ranching lifestyle while providing a family oriented, competitive riding experience at the grassroots level.

CENTRAL OHIO REINING HORSE ASSOCIATION (CORHA)

The Central Ohio Reining Horse Association is a nonprofit association dedicated to promoting and encouraging development of and public interest in the sport of reining. The focus is on developing and maintaining suitable standards of performance and judging and in providing a fun-filled, family-oriented atmosphere. From humble beginnings of only five enthusiasts, CORHA now sports over 150 members and growing! They are very active in the show arena with 8-10 show dates per year.

INTERSCHOLASTIC EQUESTRIAN ASSOCIATION

The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA), has nearly 14,000 members across the United States riding and coaching Hunt Seat, Western and Dressage disciplines. The non-profit (501(c)3) was organized to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction available to middle and secondary school students and is open to public and private schools and barn teams.

There is no need for a rider to own a horse because the IEA supplies a mount and tack to each equestrian for competitions. Its purpose is to set minimum standards for competition, provide information concerning the creation and development of school associated equestrian sport programs, to generally promote the common interests of safe riding instruction and competition and education on matters related to equestrian competition at the middle and secondary school levels.

Beginning in 2019, Weaver Equine was named an official tack and equipment supplier of IEA.

TIME TO RIDE

Time To Ride®, a program of the American Horse Council’s Marketing Alliance, is designed to introduce school-age children to horseback riding and horse care in a safe, welcoming environment. The goal is to familiarize school-age children with horses through an initial series of lessons that include basic horse care as well as riding. The program emulates the golf industry’s The First Tee, in which school-age kids are introduced to golf through a series of lessons at a local golf course.

Beginning in 2019, this program will select 20-30 facilities across the U.S. to participate in their first-ever pilot program, representing a cross-section of breeds and disciplines. Participating facilities will receive gifts and discounts from Marketing Alliance member companies and organizations, including a free one-year Professional Membership from United States Pony Clubs, free Fan Memberships from US Equestrian, a coupon for a free bag of Purina horse feed, a complimentary copy of Platinum Performance magazine, discounts on purchases from Certified Horsemanship Association, Troxel Helmets, Weaver Equine and more.

WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA REINING HORSE ASSOCIATION

The Western Pennsylvania Reining Horse Association is a local organization dedicated to the promotion of the reining horse. They host six jackpot reining shows each year giving members the opportunity to get in to a competitive yet non-intimidating environment. WPRHA offers divisions for all levels and ages, making it a fun family time!

WHISPERING GRACE HORSES

Hope has a home at Whispering Grace Horses. Located in Ohio, this horse centered facility works together to provide horsemanship sessions through a Christ-centered atmosphere. Working one on one with a mentor, students have the opportunity to do horse activities from brushing, singing, painting, groundwork, riding and more in a safe environment!
