dac® Colt Grower is formulated to supply the key nutrients young horses need during critical growth stages. Developing horses require balanced minerals, amino acids and vitamins to help regulate metabolic processes that influence skeletal development, nerve activity, immune response and overall physical development.

This formula delivers a concentrated profile of calcium and phosphorus along with trace minerals including copper, zinc, manganese, selenium and iodine. These nutrients participate in the biological processes associated with bone formation, connective tissue development and normal physiological function in young horses.

Marine-derived calcite provides a highly bioavailable source of calcium harvested from fossilized red algae. Its natural honeycomb structure increases buffering capacity and improves mineral availability compared to traditional limestone-based calcium sources.

Chelated trace minerals are bonded to amino acids to improve mineral transport through the intestinal wall, allowing efficient uptake and utilization by the horse.

GIPro3 probiotic technology introduces beneficial microorganisms designed to interact with the digestive microbiome while helping manage harmful bacteria including Streptococcus equi, Rhodococcus and Clostridia. The probiotic strains remain viable through pelleting and acidic stomach conditions, allowing them to reach the hindgut alive.

Feeding Directions
dac® COLT GROWER can be fed with either fortified or unfortified grains. Fortified grains contain added vitamins and minerals and require a lower feeding rate of dac® COLT GROWER.

Feed dac® COLT GROWER at the following rates:

• Young, Growing Horses (3–12 months of age): 2 oz. (2 scoops) per horse per day if fed with unfortified grains
• Yearlings (up to 2 years of age): 3 oz. (2 scoops) per horse per day if fed with unfortified grains

Consult an equine nutritionist or dac® if feeding with fortified grain.
Do not feed to sheep.
