dac® Foal Starter Paste helps young foals get off to a strong start by supporting digestive health, immune function and overall development. The formula delivers probiotics, prebiotics, immune-support ingredients and key amino acids designed to help foals establish a healthy gut microbiome during the critical early stages of life.

GI Pro3 multi-strain probiotic technology introduces beneficial microorganisms that help balance the digestive tract while targeting harmful bacteria such as Streptococcus equi, Rhodococcus and Clostridia. These probiotics survive manufacturing and storage so they can reach the hindgut alive, where most digestion and microbial fermentation take place.

Milk whey protein concentrate and beta glucans provide components associated with bovine colostrum and natural immunoglobulins that help support immune response. Prebiotics and probiotics work together to encourage healthy digestion, improve nutrient absorption and support energy use as the foal grows.

The formula also includes the amino acids glycine and L-glutamine. Glycine plays a role in tissue repair and inflammation response, while glutamine helps support the growth and maintenance of the intestinal lining, which is important for digestive health.

Feeding Directions
Apply dac® Foal Starter Paste between the lower teeth and cheek at the following rates:

• Newborn foal: 1 tube (30g) per day on days 3, 4 & 5 of life
• Growing foal: 1 tube (30g) per day for 3 consecutive days prior to vaccination, travel, trimming or weaning
• Foal diarrhea: 1 tube (30g) per day while diarrhea persists
