"This is a BEAUTIFUL collar. Great quality. Fast shipping but it is actually much larger than listed. It is indeed 1" at the buckle then widens to at LEAST 1.5" in the center. I bought it for my female, it may be too much. I REALLY WISH that they had the more narrow sizes in ALL of these beautiful leather collars in the longer lengths. My ridgebacks have large necks but are refined. The collar is almost bigger than she is :("
