Left rub marks and sore spots

"I love Weaver products. I had a saddle fitter come out for my young changing horse and we recommended to get a Diamond Wool shim pad. I chose to try the Weaver version of this same pad, but it did not work for my horse. I used it on a trail ride and it left her with swollen spots on her back and rubbed/pinched hair on her sides. I could tell she was uncomfortable because she kept turning around and looking at her side and pinning her ears. A first for her. The pad was also very stiff and hard to pull up into the gullet so it felt like it was not contoured enough or had enough wither relief. Unfortunately I will be looking to return it and going with the Diamond Wool as the saddle fitter recommended."

Love it for my mare with a high wither

"Bought this shim pad for my mare who has a high wither to relieve pressure on it. Not only does this saddle pad help her, it’s also made for a more comfortable ride for myself as well. I can not recommend it enough. This pad is well made and after a few rides with it I now hope to grab another one just because!!!"
